Sauteed Mushroom and Broccolli- Chinese style

Yummy sauteed mushroom and broccoli

Hey there friends,

Wishing you a great New Year 2018! Its been a while I have written something as I have been busy lately due to work and other commitments.

However, I finally got the time to write something down. Today, I would be sharing my vegan recipe - sauteed mushroom and broccoli.

I am a die hard non-vegetarian gorging on all things meat and being working all the time and having less time to workout, I have put on weight lately. Therefore, I finally decided that its high time I let myself loose to the temptation of unhealthy food and start a healthy diet.
I have started eating healthy, having less meat and junk food.

This weekend I went veggie shopping and prepared this yummy recipe in an instant and I must say that it takes little effort to make a yummy veggie dish while it drains my skills out to make the perfect meat dish, be it chicken, pork or duck.

Cut mushrooms, broccoli, shallots, capsicum

So, to make a healthy but yummy sauteed veggies , do follow the steps below:

Ingredients:

  • Broccoli
  • button mushrooms
  • shallots
  • ginger, garlic
  • capsicum - half
  • green chilies - 3
  • salt - according to taste
  • szechuan sauce
  • soy sauce
  • refine cooking oil (3 - 4 tsp)

Directions:
  • Cut the broccoli, mushroom, shallots, capsicum, ginger and garlic into small pieces.
  • Heat the pan and add 3-4 tsp of refine oil . Once pan is heated, add the mushrooms, some salt to taste and stir them for 5 minutes. Place the fried mushrooms in a plate.
  • Next, fry the broccoli for 5 minutes in the pan and then place it in a plate.
  • After that, add the shallots, capsicum and green chilies in the heated pan and saute a bit. Next, add the cut ginger and garlic and fry for 6 minutes.
  • Add some soy sauce and keep frying until it is golden.
  • Next add 3 teaspoon of szechuan sauce to the fried shallots, capsicum and green chilies and stir it well. Add the fried broccoli and mushrooms to the pan.
  • Let it simmer for several minutes.
  • Serve immediately with steam rice!

The veggies almost ready to eat  😋😋
