My Shopping with Nykaa - the experience

This is my first experience in writing a blog and I would start of with my shopping experience on the eCommerce site Nykaa.com.

As you know with the latest boom in e-commerce sites and people's penchant for shopping online at the comfort of their home, this industry has been blooming at a fast pace. Of course, not all sites can survive the competition, however with the right products and promotion we do see some sites gaining fast popularity and dedicated customers.

One of such sites is Nykaa.com (http://www.nykaa.com/ ) which has become the largest beauty destination for us girls. Few years back, when I discovered this site, I was apprehensive in shopping online for cosmetics. However, when I heard good reviews about this site including feedback from friends that Nykaa sells genuine products, I soon decided to order some products for myself. 

 The site started with selling products of small brands and now you can also get the biggest brands to buy too such as  MAC, Nyx,to name a few, however it has recently launched its own products starting from lipsticks, to kajal and body lotion.


Recently, it has also opened stores in many places in India, the latest being at High Street Phoneix in Mumbai.

My experience while shopping with Nykaa has been pleasant and I got my products within a week of ordering plus without any damage. The site also has section regarding beauty tips and advice from the top beauty bloggers and experts.

 All in all, I can only say that for a person busy with work daily, Nykaa has helped me in saving time to get all my favorite beauty brands in one place.

  In my last blog, I had mentioned that I am at home after almost a year, therefore I am enjoying different delicacies prepared at home. Moreover, I am also cooking a lot of dishes. We have just celebrated Maagh Bihu ( 13th to 15th January) which is the festival for feasting and merry making.  Maagh Bihu is also a time for feast and merry making as our harvesting is over and duck is the most preferred meat. During this time duck meat tastes great and this dish is one of the most preferred dish in Upper Assam. The meat is cooked with white gourd and is served to family and to our respected guests. I went ahead and installed the App to check out the brands and products they are selling on their site and I was also curious about the free samples they were offering.
