Sivanna Smokey eye shadow palette review

Hi Girls,

 Today I will give a brief review on the Smokey eye-shadow palette from Sivanna. 
I had first used this product many years ago during my stay in Thailand, and recently I found out that it has become quite popular among the fashionistas.

 Apart from being affordable (I got it from Amazon at Rs 370), the eye shadow palette is pigmented too. I really like the 3 shimmery colors in silver, black and purple, however the other three shaded are a bit chalky. For a beginner and college girls, this is one of the best plus it is easy to carry as it is small in size.

The packaging is simple and the con is that it has no mirror inside. It contains a sponge applicator which is ok.

 I was confused regarding whether to buy the smokey or the brown palette but since I love the smokey look, I decided to go for the smokey one.

 I have taken swatches of the 6 shades.. well the shades has not come out well on my arm as my camera was giving me issues :P


I have also tried using it and found it shimmery, pigmented ( the silver, black and purple) and perfect for a smokey look at parties and special occasions. You may want to try the smokey look by using the black shimmery eye shadow and go for a black ensemble.

 The white, light and dark brown color are not pigmented and shimmery however they can be used to define the outer eye lids and the crease.

Verdict: I am satisfied with the product plus it is afforable.

 Pros:

  • Easy to carry
  • Cheap
  • Pigmented
  • Shimmery
  • Stays for 4-5 hours , for better results use primer.
Cons:
  • No mirror
  • Would have liked if all the shades would have been pigmented and shimmery.

  In my last blog, I had mentioned that I am at home after almost a year, therefore I am enjoying different delicacies prepared at home. Moreover, I am also cooking a lot of dishes. We have just celebrated Maagh Bihu ( 13th to 15th January) which is the festival for feasting and merry making.  Maagh Bihu is also a time for feast and merry making as our harvesting is over and duck is the most preferred meat.
